Performance envelope

When the gasket you need isn't a standard size, you cut it. SealGuard jointing sheets give maintenance and fabrication teams a calibrated, consistent blank to work from — uniform thickness, predictable compressibility and a known temperature and chemical rating across the whole sheet. Stock the grades your plant actually runs, cut to any flange or housing on site, and replace an emergency gasket in minutes instead of waiting on a supplier lead time.

Specification Guidance

Getting the spec right

Field-tested guidance from our engineers on specifying gasket rolls & sheets for demanding service.

  • Note 01

Select sheet thickness for the flange surface finish — thinner sheets seal better on smooth, rigid faces.

  • Note 02

Reinforce flexible graphite with a tanged 316 insert where blow-out resistance and handling strength matter.

  • Note 03

Reserve cork-rubber for low-pressure oil and fuel covers where conformability beats raw strength.

  • Note 04

Keep an FDA / WRAS-approved rubber grade on hand for potable-water and hygienic gasket fabrication.
