PTFE Sheets

Inert sheet stock for the worst media

Virgin and filled PTFE sheet for cutting chemically inert gaskets, linings and machined parts that resist almost any process fluid.

  • Chemically inert across virtually the entire pH range
  • Filled grades add creep resistance and load capacity
  • Skives and machines cleanly to tight tolerance
  • FDA and USP Class VI grades for purity-critical duty
  • Very low friction for slide plates and wear surfaces

Where it holds the line

PTFE sheet is the go-to stock when nothing else survives the chemistry. Virgin grades are inert across the full pH range and ideal for high-purity gaskets and slide surfaces, while glass-, carbon- and bronze-filled grades add the creep resistance and load capacity that machined seats and wear pads demand. Skived or moulded, the sheet cuts and machines cleanly into gaskets, diaphragms, linings and bushings that shrug off acids, solvents and oxidisers alike.

Typical applications

  • 01Chemically inert cut gaskets and seats
  • 02Reactor and vessel linings
  • 03Diaphragms and slide / wear plates
  • 04Machined bushings and back-up rings
  • 05High-purity and food-contact parts
