Where it holds the line

In dirty, wet or dusty environments a single lip isn't enough — contamination reaches the bearing from outside. The double-lip seal adds an auxiliary dust lip ahead of the primary sealing lip: the inner lip holds the lubricant in, while the outer lip wipes grit, splash and airborne dust off the shaft before it can migrate inward. The cavity between the lips can be grease-packed for extra protection, making this the seal of choice for off-highway, agricultural, marine-deck and outdoor machinery.
