Where it holds the line

Lubricated soft-fibre packing is the economical, gentle choice for clean-water and food-grade pumps that don't need the price or hardness of a technical braid. Spun from cotton, ramie or synthetic yarns and pre-charged with a PTFE dispersion and break-in lubricant, it conforms quickly to the shaft, runs cool during bedding-in and keeps friction low without scoring soft sleeves. WRAS and FDA grades make it well suited to potable-water booster sets and hygienic transfer pumps.
