Where it holds the line

For the highest reciprocating pressures, V-ring chevron packing remains unbeaten. Multiple nested V-section rings, capped by a male and female adapter, stack in the gland and share the pressure load between them — add rings for more pressure, adjust gland depth to set the seal. Fabric-reinforced elastomer and PTFE rings combine strength with low friction, and worn rings can be replaced individually. It is the proven choice for high-pressure presses, plungers and reciprocating pumps.
