Where it holds the line

When flange faces are imperfect or the medium is water rather than steam, a soft elastomer gasket seals better than any fibre or metal alternative. SealGuard rubber gaskets are moulded or cut from the elastomer that suits the duty — NBR for oils, EPDM for water and weak chemicals, FKM for aggressive media, silicone for hygienic and extreme-temperature service — and conform readily to low bolt loads. WRAS and FDA-approved grades make them the natural choice for potable-water and food-contact joints.
