Where it holds the line

The single-spring seal is the rugged generalist of the mechanical-seal world. Its single large-pitch conical spring sits clear of the product flow, so it shrugs off the fibres, solids and viscous media that would jam a multi-spring design, while still applying even closing force to the lapped faces. Easy to fit and forgiving in service, it is the dependable, economical replacement for gland packing on water, effluent and general-process pumps where simplicity and reliability matter most.
