In ServiceUSE

Where it holds the line

Rigid pipework can't accommodate the thermal growth, pump vibration and misalignment that real plants impose — so something flexible has to. SealGuard expansion joints take up that movement: rubber bellows for vibration and general service, PTFE for aggressive chemicals, and stainless metal bellows for high temperature and pressure. By absorbing axial, lateral and angular movement, they protect pumps, flanges and supports from fatigue, quieten the system and extend the life of the whole connected run.

Typical applications

  • 01Pump suction and discharge connections
  • 02Thermal-growth pipework and ducting
  • 03Vibration isolation on rotating equipment
  • 04Chemical-transfer lines (PTFE)
  • 05High-temperature exhaust and flue systems (metal)
